Nah, he just recreates imagery, but he doesn't put it together in a logical fashion.

exactly. i know 9empire is trolling, but let's be real. snyder cannot tell a story. he can take a comic and film it live panel by panel. thats why watchmen and 300 were good. but give him an original story and what do you get? sucker punch.
batman v superman took 2 stories and tried to combine them into 1. he failed miserably once he wasnt able to follow the comics to a T.
i'll give him this though, the man can direct one hell of an action sequence. he's just not a good lead director. snyder is basically michael bay.

This is laughably horrible.
The script, dialogue, cgi and whole premise is stupidly bad
By the way, how come doomsday, who's a major dumbass and not a very interesting character, is a huge spoiler reveal and ruins the movie for normies, but spiderman reveal, who's market wise a top 3 superhero ever, is not a spoiler at all.
Just found this post right after the second trailer dropped.

civil war has made $940 million so far, will probably hit a billion this week.
i dont think bvs has even made $800 million yet, despite being out far longer and featuring 2 of the biggest heroes around (aside from spiderman).
imagine how badly bvs would have been slaughtered if they had kept their original release date and came out the same weekend as civil war? it would have been a bloodbath.

I have high hopes for the Batman movie and I'm optimist for the Wonder Woman movie. I think DC suffers in that we don't really see them with a unifying vision. They seem to be reactive to what Marvel is doing instead of forging their own path.

they are trying too hard to replicate what marvel has done while at the same time differentiate themselves by going "darker". they just need to just let their universe form at it's own pace and not worry about what marvel is doing.
first thing that needs to be done is fire zack snyder.
