    Question Today's "What-If" Scenario:

What if Dwyane Wade went home to Chicago during free agency in 2010?

We all know that he played great the next year and we all saw what Rose became.

I'm basically asking a few things:

How many rings would Chicago have won?
How many MVP's and Final MVP's for Wade during that time?
Where do LeBron and Bosh end up with Wade in Chicago?

    etc

Bosh goes to Cleveland if wade goes to Chicago. Lebron still has 2 rings. Wade would still be at 1. He would also be done by now Thibs would have over worked him and ruined his knees

Bron would've gone to New York and teamed up with Melo and someone else. Probably would have had just as much success as the heat except being in New York would have been way better for him off the court and for his legacy

Wade and Rose vs Lebron Melo would have been a great rivalry but I dont think the bulls would win any rings

So you think LeBron/Bosh/Crew in Cleveland beats out Rose/Wade/Deng/Boozer/Noah in that first year?

And it's easy to play the whole "Thibs would have overworked him" card, but you also have to consider that he may have been a great fit for Thibs team and style of coaching, and probably would have helped them win games in the playoffs, even if only at 75% health.

Melo was still under contract in Denver, so no, it would of just been Bron and Amare.

Bron would be ringless in Cleveland with Mike Brown running the show. with Lebron staying there, Mike Brown would never be fired. Even with Bosh, Lebron would not overcome the incompetence that was Danny Ferry.

Chicago would still have 0 rings in the post Jordan era. After one year, Wade would retire from Thibs running him to the ground and then Rose would get injured. Mavs would still win in 2011.

Pacers would probably be in 3 straight finals but win none of them. OKC would beat them in 2012, and Spurs would beat them in 2013 and 2014.

I don't see them beating the Mavs in 2011, who guards Dirk?

in 2012 Rose is out and Wade alone won't let them win, i say the Thunder win against the Cavs in the Finals.

    2013/2014 the Spurs still win.

What about for the future if Wade stays?

Sure, they probably can't afford Gasol, but they'd probably still be able to bring Mirotic over since they have his rights.

Wade is such a perfect fit with that team.

    Rose/Wade/Butler/Gibson/Noah

yea but you know they'd rotate shooters in off the bench. Mirotic, McDermott, Dunleavey, Hinrich, etc.

I personally think that had Wade gone to Chicago, it would have improved his legacy and all time ranking. I think he still ends up with about the same number of rings, but he probably gets another FMVP in at least one of them.

Not trying to crap on Wade for being loyal to his team though, I just enjoy discussing what-if scenarios
