Exclamation Haven't made a James Harden Thread all day...

    Courtesy of CBSSports:

Rockets shooting guard James Harden is on pace to join Michael Jordan (1988-89) and LeBron James (2004-05) as the only players since 1973-74 to average at least 27.0 points, 6.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals in a season, the Houston Chronicle reports.

"He's been fantastic," Rockets coach Kevin McHale said. "He comes to us and he's trying to figure out how to be a No. 1 option, carry a team, get everyone involved. On our team, he does most of the playmaking, too. He has the ball a lot. We ask him to do a lot. We ask him to do probably too much. I wish we had some guys to alleviate some pressure from him. But he's been fantastic."

In 50 games, Harden has averaged 27.1 points, 6.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals. Since steals began being tracked in 1973-74, only five different players have averaged as much as 25 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals in one season: Jordan (three times), Rick Barry (twice), James, Larry Bird and Dwyane Wade.
We traded Kevin Martin, a draft pick, and a ballboy for this dude.
