I wouldn't call him a role player any more than Manu was in his 2 allstar seasons.

Everyone has a role, some people think bouncing the ball around 20 times at top of the key is more important than the SG's role.

I tend to disagree, when comparing Knight and Korver.
Prime Manu is a HOFer, and a bonafide franchise player on any other team with more minutes and more freedom. Korver is a high caliber role player, in the best possible situation for him. He has a skill that he is absolutely surreal in, and that skill is being harnessed to its full extent. You put Korver on a random team like the Hornets and he is completely irrelevant this year. I love the dude but we need to stop acting like he's not benefiting tremendously from his circumstances. Whereas Knight is on a team that doesn't need his skill-set whatsoever. He's a shot creating hybrid guard on a team that needs a pure, pass-first point. You put him on a team that needs his shot-creating ability, with a coach like a Rick Carlisle who can put him in the best position to succeed...Knight is an all-star. As an individual talent he deserves to be an all-star this year, and his team is winning.

I don't really know either, but I'd rather have Dirk in as a career achieve award ala Duncan (I know Duncan has more impact defensively).

Someone on the Mavs should've made it though.

I'd rather have Ellis, Dirk, Zbo or even Bogut make it over Korver.

Korver over B.Knight of the Bucks

This is why I haven't watched an All-Star game in over 10 years....

    It's never right.

Jimmy Butler might not play. If he's out it has to go to Knight.

Though if any Buck gets it, it should be Giannis for actual impact..but as long as one Buck gets in

its ok for cousins to get in over draymond green but not for vucevic to get in over korver
Kevin Love has made little (positive) impact on his team.

Calling the Hawks "stacked" is silly. None of these 4 guys would be all stars in the west.

Korver is a great choice. One of the most impactful players in the NBA

He's saying role players on very good teams have made the All-Star team in previous years. Korver making it as an injury replacement is hardly an indictment on the quality of the NBA currently.

    Don`t expect them to understand...
