When the Clippers dealt Eric Gordon, Many experts at that time believed this kid was big time. Like Harden big time. His handles were 'rush hour', his stroke was 'all night'. There were a few flash backs here and there of Gordon putting a game away in the 4th or putting up 12 points in a row. But most games, he has been an average shooting guard..

However this year gordon has been shooting 45% from the 3pt line. Thats some specialist 3 pt shooting considering his handles are about as good as anyones in the league. That being said its 2 years too late for him to blossom now. What could have been in a Davis - Gordon tandem with a Tyreke Evans as the core slasher would have been a dangerous team. Just shows that timing is so important and Gordon really messed himself over on this one.
