    Mike Wallace is a FA.

    He's 31, kinda old, but he's still fast. He's what we need, just a competent deep guy.

    Maybe he'd work for just 2 seasons, that would allow us to address other things in the short term.

    We need to keep Dez one more year...

    cut T.Williams and Beasley...

    draft WR in rounds 1 or 2, and maybe find a veteran like Mike Wallace.

    Butler = #4

    Switzer = #5

    would not be surprised if Dez gets cut. Saves $12 million.

    I would say Patriots over Cowboys in 2019 (atlanta) would be the perfect way for Brady to officially crown New England as "America's Team"... but I don't have any faith the Boys could make it that far.

    See you guys in the draft.

    early prediction:

    New England over Green Bay

    if the Giants draft Barkley next year...

    watch out for them.

    Brady vs Eli part 3 is not outside the realm of possibility.

    Garrett, aka Clappy the Clown, is the worst coach in the league. Jerry Jones is turning us into the Bengals of the NFC with his devotion to this idiot coach.

    The only logical explanation for why the Cowboys would keep the Clapper this long is because he unquestioningly follows every last thing that Jerry says. Garrett might be holding the clipboard, but ultimately Jerry is the real coach.

    Garrett won NFL COY in 2016

    Garrett is 67-53 and the only losing season he's had was the 4-12 season that Romo broke his back and Weeden was our starter.

    Absolutely no reason to replace him right now...

    Garrett has no spine. Much like the Skins, they won't be able to reach that next level without a superior coach.

    You can point to his record but Romo saved that % on his own with many a game.

    So what? Exactly which parts of the 2016 cowboys success can you say that Garrett was responsible for?

    Coach of the year is one of the most meaningless awards in professional sports anyway. Marvin Lewis won coach of the year in 2009... this alone taints the award for decades to come. Belichick has only won the award 3 times, despite the fact that he should win virtually every year and he is easily the best NFL coach of all time. Look at the NBA, Dwayne Casey won COTY in NBA this past season, ask Toronto fans how that worked out for them. Does Mike Budenholzer even have a job right now?

    What exactly does Garrett do well? Is his play calling good? Is his gameplanning good? Does he understand gameflow and make good decisions in real time? Are his formations good? Does he bring the best out of his players?

    He went 13-3 with a rookie QB in 2016...and rookie RB

    Two players on the sane team up for ROY

    Its unheard of...

    Watch the 2008 Cowboys Hard Knocks...give you some insight into his style, he actually does coach, its not Jerry. Thats been an urban myth for any coach that walks in here, ever since Jerry fired Jimmy back in 94.

    What does he do poorly? There is no coach that could come in here and not be falsely labeled "Jerry's puppet".

    I dont give a shit about Garretts record in 2016... Del Rio went 12-4 that same year in an absolutely brutal division, and he is a mediocre coach at best.

    Like I said - What exactly does Garrett do well? Is his play calling good? Is his gameplanning good? Are his formations good? Does he understand gameflow and make good play-calling decisions in real time? Does he bring the best out of his players through his energy and charisma??

    What does he do poorly?
    pretty much everything except clapping

    Other than Bill Cowher, who obviously had a sustained degree of success, coaches very rarely break through to win their first title after 5+ years on the same job, the Cowboy are stale and inconsistent year to year, keeping the same guy is uninspiring.
