    Default At 34, MJ still made All-Defensive First Team. Kobe made his last at 32.

    LeBron last made it at 28. Lebron stopped playing D while he was still in his prime. Remember 2012? He tried to get DPOY but didn't get it. Didn't play defense after that.

    He played defense in the 2013 season.

    2008 - 2013 was the years he gave effort defensively. That’s it. He was very good to great during the first 3 Heatles seasons.

    Ever since, and with each passing year, getting worse, it became more and more about conserving energy to put up stats.

    It was just much noticeably better 2011 through 2013 because he was playing with a top-five player, and a top three power forward to offset the need to spend energy offensively.
