Tua Tagovailo vs Trevor Lawrence
I love Tua. He looks like Steve Young to me with Brees footwork in the pocket.
Trevor is the most hyped high school prospect ever and just had a freshman season where his team won a title and has guys like Gil Bradt saying he's the best freshman QB they've ever seen.
These are the next two great QBs it seems.

If I had to bet I would say Lawrence will be the better pro.

I don't see what people see in Tua.
When I watched him play I never got the IT factor or anything. He's athletic sure but it seems I can't see any other attribute that fascinates me but watching Lawrence I definitely saw what the pundits saw.

Knicks all da way
Re: Tua Tagovailo vs Trevor Lawrence
An interesting theory I heard today. Giants drafted DUKE QB to shut all the people up about Giants moving on from Eli. Giants suck for the next 2 seasons and draft Lawrence
I guess that means poor Saquon will be on tanking teams.

Hope I eat my words and DJ is the real deal
But Lawrence is gonna be a stud himself.

Re: Tua Tagovailo vs Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence is literally the product you would get if you built the perfect quarterback in a lab.
Huge, crazy arm, accuracy, mobility. Then you have his poise and footwork, both of which you never see to these levels in a freshman QB.
He’s the best prospect I’ve ever seen already.

Wow, Burrow is so much better than Tua.
Once guy can improvise and the other can't.
No question Burrow will be a better NFL QB.

This game ain't done, even though I'm rooting for LSU. So tired of Alabama.
PS Why isn't there a college football thread? I guess there are minimal amount of college football fans, and I'm not gonna pretend I sit down every Saturday watching games all day... but this LSU Bama game is turning into a great one.

Tua is basically playing on one leg. He just had ankle surgery less than a month ago right?
Tua can evade pressure and "improvise" just fine. It's one of his strengths.

Tua destroyed this man's take.
Finishes with 418 and 4 TDs dropping dimes all over the place.

They lost because of his poor 1st half performance.
He plays with the most talented receiving corps in college football history and a stud NFL RB.
Tua is literally the weak link of their offense. Hes the beneficiary of all time great supporting cast and still lost them the game at home.

It's not a strength. Hes wildly inaccurate and ineffective when faced with pressure.
Luckily he plays with 3 NFL receivers and rarely faces any pressure so the numbers look great. Eye test says hes a backup in the NFL.
