Question Could LeBron James turn on Finals MVP mode?

I don't know if it's a matter of faith or simple fanaticism, but I think that tonight we can witness the impossible.

Like in classical mythology and the twelve labors of Heracles.

In the short term, the Lakers have four finals to win, in the medium term another four, but you have to go game by game, as the Atlético de Madrid coach says.

The king now faces a matter of life and death, it is in these situations where pride and caste come to the fore.

When a man faces death, the impossible is only a small obstacle, Prince of Persia in "Warrior Within"

Personally, if he wins this Championship, he will have my respects and he will deserve to have his number retired in Lakerland, otherwise, I will have no choice, but to put an asterisk in the bubble ring.

The problem is that Lebron's heroics always required a sidekick to outplay a league MVP like Kyrie outplaying Curry or AD outplaying Jokic in 2020 or Wade outplaying Dirk in 2011.

People forget that Kyrie played 12 of 14 games in the 15' East Playoffs, while Love was the only perennial all-star sidekick in the 18' East, so the only time that Lebron took a 1-star team to the Finals was when everyone was doing it (Iverson, Kidd, Dwight)..

Lebron wasn't capable of winning the East with homecourt in 09' and 10', so he took the top 3 first options in the conference and put them on 1 team, aka his primary achievement (Finals streak) was completely manufactured.

This inability to win organically is a skillset issue - his abnormal ball-dominance for his size/position imposes spot-up roles that stall young players, thereby needing ready-made stars to win, aka his skillset of imposing spot-up roles will yield weak teammate development, fits, strategic capacity/coaching and ultimately, team ceilings/Finals records.

Game 3 was a must win and all he did was chuck 3s in the 2nd half when the Lakers needed to attack.
