Better fit for the Lakers derozan or zach lavine
I got a feeling the Lakers might acquire one of these guys.

Lavine obviously because of shooting
I wouldn't trade Reaves & Hachimura unless you can grab Caruso as well in the trade

They have to include Reaves and/or Hachimura along with other assets. Other teams also want these players, builds are going to make the best trade for themselves not just to be nice to LA.

neither fits but DeRozan is a guy you'd want and LaVine isn't unless you're stupid and we know the Lakers front office isn't that bright

Neither. They would look good on paper but the Lakers need a big guy who can defend and grab rebounds more than they need a scoring guard

But since the “Big Three” of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic came together going into the 2021-22 season, LaVine has missed 22 regular-season games. DeRozan has missed 16 in that same time. In the games without DeRozan, the Bulls are 7-9 losing by an average margin of 13.1 points in those nine games. Without LaVine they are 12-10 losing by a margin of 10 points. They aren’t a playoff team without LaVine, but they haven’t exactly been a playoff team with him, either. One visit to the postseason – a one-round exit in which they won just one game – is all he’s given them in seven seasons.

I disagree. Lakers need a point-guard who is starter quality. Vincent blows and d'lo is not reliable.
I think derozan is the better fit of the 2. He can play some point along with reaves and LeBron. Derozan is also elite from the mid-range, can create, and draw fouls. I think he can be valuable. I just don't know if he is the best option available across the NBA. There has to be another pg on the trading block in the next month or so. I don't know who yet, but I don't want derozan to be our main target. He should be the backup target if nothing else becomes available.

I got that feeling too Louie.
Lavine fits better in the Lakers lineup but his contracts is worse. If Lebron goes somewhere else to play with Bronny next year the Lakers are gonna be built around big contracts for AD and Lavine, which is treadmill hell.
Bronny James is a freshman at USC who just was cleared to play basketball again. He will be a draft pick in next years draft.

DeRozan is a horrible fit. Lavine fits on offense for sure but I’m not sure they need another guard who can’t defend anyone.
