As long as you don't place Seattle at #1...

I am the only Pats fan that will say this, but I still don't like Moss. But I do now feel free to laugh to myself whenever I hear the term "Patriot Way" in any way referring to "class." Rodney Harrison (who I still like) gets busted for HGH, Tom Brady has a kid out of wedlock (not a big deal, IMO, but certainly not part of the projected image), and the team adds on Randy Moss, with all of his baggage...and to top it all off, the team may or may not have been taping the Jets signals (like they even need to). I never want to hear anyone talk about what a "class" organization this is again, it's the dumbest front in the NFL today. The "Patriot Way" is in reality about winning, no matter what it takes.

San Diego is right there...in fact they're better then Indianapolis. Who lost a lot of key players on defense. It will show come playoff time.

They didn't imporess me, should have kicked Chi's ass but instead "just won." Indy, on the other hand, destroyed NO. Their d shut the Saints down, and the Saints have an excellent offense. Great offense + good defense = great team. I still call Manning a choker often but the SB Champs demand credit.

San Diego won by dominating in the 2nd half, should have really been 21-3 final score...San Diego beat NFC's best team. New Orleans are getting overrated just as much as Reggie Bush to me, Carolina is the best team in that division like I've been saying since the draft. And they will prove me right.

San Diego lost a close game to a much more experienced New England squad in the playoffs last season, they are still the most talented team in this lleague and are the most well rounded...they definitely belong with NE & Indy.

I think NE is #1 because of their experience/QB, and SD is #2.

The Chargers look better on paper. If that was the case the Patriots would have lost to the Rams in the superbowl a while back.

The Chargers fired all of their coaches I do believe. No matter how much talent you have it takes time to adjust to the new coaches. They have a second year guy in Rivers, who, truth be told is pretty good...but I don't believe in him. Give him another two years and that could change.

All in all, they have question marks surrounding their team. Just like the Colts do. It's completly false to assume the Chargers are better just because the Colts lost a few key players on defense. Guess what? One of those key players got burned over and over again by Wayne. Not to mention the new guys who have stepped in their place have done a job worth noting so far.

Mike and Mike are awful. How these drone clowns are doing a morningshow let alone NFL games is beyond me.

I agree with the assesments though, Pats looked like the favs they're supposed to be, followed by the Colts.Chargers are right there on paper for sure, but like Carbine said, there will be an adjustment period.Although Rivers didn't look as good as I thought he would.

On an MLB related note...the Tigers burnt me too.But the Dbacks more than made up for it in a nail biter.Good weekend on the sportsbook front.

I told you McGahee > Gore.

Seriously though, I gonna kill you in FF next week. Your team sucks.

Don't type IND and NE are clearly better than SD and leave it at that. You're making a pretty huge claim here, and I'm sure that most people would like to know why you feel the way you feel.

    I sure do.

I forgot about the FF league. Gotta see how i did. Carbine raped me in the trade.

On paper? Maybe...but how is Indy clearly better when they have 2 new OTs (one is a rookie) a new featured RB with no veteran backup on offense? And on the defenside side they got 2 new CBs and a questionable front 4 after Booger went down.

And I dont ignore these questions/statements because of what happened Thursday. It doesnt answer a damn thing in my book. What did SD lose again? Not even a game. They have the best player in football and arguably the best defensive player in the game.

NE is all on paper. Sure they look dangerous and maybe even should be. But we all know the game is played on the field...and the NFL postseason is a different season than the NFL regular season. Dont sleep on SD because they lost by 3 to NE last season. Sure new faces on NE but SD is returning roughly the same team...another season to grow.

The same team that hasn't done anything ever.

*looks at Indy's and NE's roster*

    Rivers is overrated as well.

Merriman the best in the league?
