Re: NBA 2k8 Player Ratings
I don't think it's worthwhile to discuss overall ratings. It's only important that the players behave like their real life counterpart. We could discuss whether individual ratings (pass, steal, rebound) are too high once we have access to them.

and Artest has a better rating than Deng...at 86????
and Camby is rated too high at 88 lmao
uh-huh sure, the DPOY at 88 is too high for you right?
U just mad cuz camby has better player rankings than any player on the bulls..haha
But I do think that Ben Gordon at 82 is a little low.

Re: NBA 2k8 Player Ratings
duncan at 98 is a lil high, unless they focus heavily on low post skills and complaining to the refs.

Re: NBA 2k8 Player Ratings
The Bulls are always disrespected by the video game world and the referee's. It's ok, the Bulls have 5 players in the 80's and a few high 70's players. I am gonna dominate with them on 360.

These aren't player rankings theyre a combination of the players category ratings. Barbosa has a high rating in a lot of categories I'm sure with his shot and speed. Some are more important than others the overall rating may not seem right to you now but wait and play as him in the game before judging too much.
Yao isn't athletic and not versatile, therefore he probably has some categories that are very low, even though in real life he is an excellent player. This isn't a player ranking.

I'm aware of this. But Barbosa would get high scores in shooting categories, layups, durability and speed (like 90s). He would get a moderate score for steals, ball handling, defensive awareness, offensive awareness (70s- low 80s). Then bad scores on passing, o and d rebounding, blocks, dunks (50-60). I just can't imagine him being 85. How is it possible he has higher overall stats than j-rich (among others)?
I also agree with a previous post that Curry's stats should be higher. Roy and Gordon should probably be higher too. Another interesting thing...does this mean kenyon martin is rated below 77? He isn't on the list.

The only thing Curry can really do is go to work on the low post offensively. Other than that, he doesn't do much at all. And I watched at least 65 games last season.

Where Brooklyn at?
Re: NBA 2k8 Player Ratings
Lol I was looking for VC and RJ on SG and SF. I thought they left them out. Only to realize that they switched spots. WTF..?
I'd complain about Rafer Alston being in the Top 25, but he might hit me.
Haha
