He has gotten in much better shape since entering the league. He was 7'0 1/4" and 310 pounds when he was drafted but he is now 7'1" and 285 and much stronger.

I agree. I don't know why they don't list them at their real heights and don't include wingspans which are just as important.
2002
Yao Ming 7'5" although the Rockets claim he was actually measured 7'5.5"...just a 7'4.75" wingspan!
Drew Gooden 6'8.75"
Nene Hilario 6'9.5"
Chris Wilcox 6'8.25"
Amare Stoudemire 6'8.5"(grown to 6'9.25')
Caron Butler 6'5.25"
Carlos Boozer 6'7.75"(6'9.5" in shoes)
Udonis Haslem 6'6.75"
Smuth Parker 6'2.5" 6'10" wingspan
I was suprised at Butler and Stoudemire's measurements

Take a guy 6'1" put him in basketball shoes. The shoes make him 6'2" but he is not 6'2 because. You can take a 6'1" guy and put him in boots and the boots will make hm close to 6'4" but he still wouldn't be 6'4". Some NBA players are listed barefoot, some heights are just inflated and some are listed in shoes.

and it doesn't look too bad. Not sure how interested you are in this stuff but maybe you can just list players from there draft classes so it looks a little more organized. Maybe even make a spreadsheet and organze them by draft class and height. Thats if you are bored. Just trying to help.

I find it funny that I'm taller than Steve Nash. These guys seem like larger than life figures, yet I'm about the same height or slightly taller than the average PG.

Yeah I knew there was no way Nash was 6'3" like the NBA lists him. Iverson is only 3/4 of an inch below his listed height.
