Default Fair to say Lebron's FG% in Miami was inflated?

Over the last couple of years, a lot of people would pimp Bron's FG% without looking at the kind of shots the Heat's offense were generating for him.

He is still shooting 46%, which is still solid, but he isn't getting the 2-3 easy baskets he regularly got in Miami.

Or you know, he's struggling the first few games with the Cavs....

He was a system player that thrived in Spo's offensive and defensive systems, IMO. No more trap defenses to bail him out, nor will he have guys with great fortitude that will hit pressured shots anymore.

He has the most talent out of anybody in the league surrounding him, but he can't do sh*t with it. All hype.

Definitely. Wade/Chalmers threw up so many lobs for him to pad his FG%, even if they could've gotten the 2 points for themselves. Also, way more cherrypick oppurtunities because he'd stay at half court on defense and totally ignore his man . Not that he doesn't still do that, but it's less frequent because it's an automatic score for the other team now.

He looked off to start last year and yet still shot over 50% for the first month of the year.

He isn't playing well and he isn't the same athlete he was 4-5 years ago, but I think some of us are underselling how good the Miami offensive system was the last couple of years.

lebron pads his fg% like crazy. If he's not shooting well he stops shooting even if its a loss for the team. How many shots did he take in the second half today? fu ck your fg% lebron, no one can guard you. take it to the rack and get to the line. he's too worried about his stats, its ridiculous.

The Heat offense system was great 2013 and 2014, Defense great 2011-2013.

But Lebron hasnt been playing particulary well these first 12 games or so and it clearly isnt because of an easy basket here and there.

All those guys on the Heat were willing to let their numbers drop a bit so Lebron could specifically thrive. Wade admitted as much after the 2011 fiasco.

    "It has to be you"

The problem with the Cavs is , will Kryrie at such a young age feel the same? You can put Love out there as well. He may be trying to commit to the system like they need him to but no one can convince this guy who was putting up some monster numbers doesn't feel some type of way about how his production is going. He's as big of a % head as Lebron, padding stats and all.

Wade had a ring and already made his imprint on the League , so he wasn't concerned with taking a back seat. Neither was Bosh. Or Ray Allen.

Love and Kyrie are still pretty young and still up-and coming by comparison.

I don't think those rumors about Love walking next year are fake.

he got alot of easier opportunities, layups/transition/oops etc. w/ the miami system. hes had to work alot harder in cleveland. its also helped with his cardio since he could reserve more energy that he cant seem to now

Standard bran more worried about fg% than the game...

No Batman and Bosh to bail him out now
