it still hurts. i came in around the time of their unplugged album, loved it to death, enjoyed kurt's vaguely nihilistic banter and discovered a bunch of new songs, including the bowie and ledbelly ones. learned to play some of them a few years later.

yea, i really liked a lot of that grunge and alt / rock movement in the mid-90's. wish kurt could have lived and those movements gone on longer.

Was never into that genre but for some reason I enjoyed listening to Nirvana every now and then, sucks how Kurt's life came to an end.

Probably wasn't a coincidence that he would style himself after Kurt.

Excellent group. Nevermind and In-Utero are pretty much filler free.

Nevermind is average. In Utero is a great album though.

Grohl obviously has more talent than both Krist and Cobain had combined though. Great song writer, average guitar player/screamer.

Eh, no. He's pretty average, good for a couple of solid moments per album. That's it.

The guy literally wrote a humorless song titled "I Hate Myself and Want to Die", but somehow it isn't believable that he killed himself. Okaay. People will make a conspiracy theory out of anything.
