A few weeks ago AD and DJ were making historic runs at two of Wilt's long-standing records... seasonal FG% and seasonal PER.

Now it looks like both will fall considerably short, and in fact, Davis may wind up with a PER lower than 31.0 and Jordan may not even shoot .700.

It's funny because one of the brilliant trolls of this board had once again completely jumped the gun claiming Davis would smash the PER record and another poster was arguing with me that he could see his PER staying between 33 and 36:

That was one of the reasons I made this post.

Not that it makes any difference. The "bashers" will claim it was a weak era. Even though a PEAK Kareem couldn't come to close to Chamberlain's three year run of 31+ (KAJ's highs were 29.9 and 29.0.) And after KAJ, Baylor had one season of 28.2, and Oscar had a couple at 27.0+.

And if blocked shots had been recorded, Wilt likely would have put the PER mark to an unapproachable status.

My dad was an avid watcher of 60's basketball. He just confirmed to me that Wilt is actually 6'10.5 to 6'11 and not the absurd measurements that clown asses like Lazerrus try to project him as.
