    Is Clarkson better than Lin?

Lin lost the starting PG job to a rookie there's the answer.

Lin had more than enough chances to take the reins of this Laker team and blew it...

there's a reason Lin's been on so many different teams under 5 different coaches and the results are always the same... comes in expected to be the starting PG, pretty soon he's moved out of the starting spot into 6th man where they try and keep his minutes up and playing with the starters for a bulk of the time then he's the 7th man and playing with just the bench....

Lin makes Lin look good on some nights but he doesn't make the team better and that's what a PG is supposed to do

Lin has had some nice runs in his career. Linsanity for example. He was great in that little stretch, but it'll probably never happen again. I don't ever think he'll reach that level, ever. Might get a little close, though. The problem with Lin is that he's extremely inconsistent. Rockets fans, like myself, and Lakers fans will all tell you this. Only delusional LOFs will tell you he's a good player. He's average. Not good by any means. Lacks the ability to stay consistent. One night he looks like an above average point guard, and the next night he looks like a guy who's playing his first ever NBA game out there.

Jordan Clarkson is clearly the better player.
