are poor people greedier then rich people??
Poor people seem to have more of a sense of entitlement and an expectation of the government to look after them just because they pay their taxes. and alot of them dont plan for their retirement. they expect the pension at a certain age.
They complain about the minimum wage quite often and their bosses and seem to hate on their rich because the rich drive around in flash cars and spend their money on lavish things such as cars houses clothes for their dogs.
poor people also seem to think a good idea is to tax the rich more. (and why because they have more money) the rich dont get food stamps or pensions or welfare. the poor are the ones who take more from the government so its seems only fitting that they pay more IMO.
the whole robin hood theory (take from the rich and give to the poor) is a joke and doesnt work. its just a thing that the government utilize to try and win votes because the poor believe this to be an effective way to cure their own poverty.
But it doesnt work. it never works. never has never will work. if you took all the money off the rich people and divided it among all the people in the world equally. it would only be a matter of time before the money returns to the same hands.
what poor people dont seem to understand is they are poor and the rich is rich because of their own mentality.
Poor minded people stay poor
Rich minded people become rich.
how many times have you heard of someone growing up poor with the worst circumstances and becoming a millionaire
how many times have you heard of a poor person winning lotto only to become broke again. or even athletes turning poor.

The bulk of the rich's wealth comes from rent seeking and not from an iota of productive contribution to the economy.

Imagine a river on which merchants boat their goods downstream. A man has spanned a chain across the river and demands a toll in exchange for lowering it so that the merchants can carry on their business. Each time a merchant wishes to pass through he gets a chunk of the fruits of productive endeavor but himself hasn't contributed anything to wealth production. What would stop the merchants from using the river had the toll take never existed? The river would still be there.
That's essentially how the rich make the bulk of their money. Not through productive contribution to the economy, but by putting up barriers, being scam artists, having appropriated highly valuable land and natural resources which would exist anyways, etc.

I guess Thomas Paine qualifies as being from a socialist enclave, if you have no ****ing idea what socialism means, that is.

There are greedy heartless fcks both rich and poor...
In going to say they're is more heartlessness amongst the poor though on average... Many rich people are very giving, not all of them are ruthless CEOs willing to fire anyone to get another $1.
Meanwhile in the poor community you can find prostitution, murder, drugs, etc in a much greater abundance than rich communities.

Wrong. The landowner, in his capacity as a landowner, is the main toll taker in the economy. Via his privilege of parasitism he charges the producer for the value of all the services and infrastructure government provides, the amenities the community provides, and what nature provides, and that without contributing anything whatsoever: the land would be there even if he or any other landowner had never existed. He gets paid for NOT STOPPING wealth production just as the toll taker at the river gets paid for NOT STOPPING production.
