They would be sending back hawes and barnes, so stephenson would be their small forward

i like the move, they need more scoring and shooting. its a high risk move, but lance is talented, and worth the gamble

I'm torn between thinking it's stupid based on his recent season and thinking it could be awesome if it pans out. At least you have to give them credit for trying, too many teams don't swing for the fences and settle for being mediocre.

I'd assume a guy like doc could keep him in check, but id still be hesitant to see how he plays with a ball dominant PG in paul, seeing as spot up shooting is not one of stephensons fortes

LAC needs to try something. Even if it doesn't turn out to be great, it's still isn't exactly a failure. Considering the fact that Barnes is horrible and Hawes couldn't make the rotation.

They are trading virtually nothing to get him. But Lance is a team chemistry killer. He has done it now with two different teams.

I wouldn't want to take that risk.

Absolutely need to make this trade. Hawes was worthless and Barnes had some good stretches for us but he is 35 and way past his prime. There is no other team that desparately needs a young, athletic wing player than the Clips. Right now, we aren't good enough to win a title. Lance is a gamble but one worth taking imo because we don't lose much.

We have enough shooters. We need D on the perimeter, a slasher and someone who can run the floor.
