Re: Houston Rockets Trade Ideas | Signings | Rumors ♛
Overall the teams would look like:
Beverley | Llull | Brown
Harden | Johnson
Brewer (say we retain him) | Smith (say we retain him) | Dekker
Aldridge | Harrell
Howard | Motiejunas
much more versatile offensively, Brewer and Smith now become the primary wing defenders
Rubio | Lavine | Jones | Prigioni
Wiggins | Crawford
Ariza | Muhammad | Budinger
Towns | Garnett | Payne
Jordan | Dieng
loaded playoff team with youth and experience, free agent coaches would line up for this team
Paul | Farmar | Hudson
Reddick | Stephenson
Pierce (if they were to acquire him) | Martin
Griffin | Bennett | Dawson
Pekovic
more more versatile offensively, primary wing defender still needed as well as a backup center
Lillard | McCollum
Henderson | Crabbe
Papanikolaou
Jones | Capela | Vonleh
Plumlee| Kaman | Leonard
young frontcourt with potential, wing players needed

Love the posts, RTC
Im just a little afraid that Houston is gonna end up having another repeat of the 2014 offseason (trading away players/picks to get a big player with a horrible end result)

I'm hoping we're taking a good look at Mo Williams and Aaron Brooks because we need to fill that backup PG spot before the offseason is over.

I like the idea of having Mo Williams here

I really wanted Mo with Rodney Stuckey, but Pacers resigned him. Mo is still a possibility though. I think Morey should also look at Cory Joseph since San Antonio just made him an unrestricted free agent.

Great. Now Cory Joseph is off the market. Morey needs to make a move

I know, I hate how quiet he's been this offseason. I'm scared we may walk into next season with the exact same roster.

Denver has been quiet with the Ty Lawson talk, I'm afraid he's off the block.

Now Mo Williams is off the market. Lawson, as you said, looks like he's not on the block anymore. Don't think Bledsoe will be moved either. Guess we gotta wait till the trade deadline

so disappointed in Morey
I really hope that a healthy Rockets squad performs as good as the competition in the Southwest Division.

I don't like us standing pat but this post made me re-think just a little: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.p...86&postcount=1

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Ideas | Signings | Rumors ♛
Houston sends: Dwight Howard, Ty Lawson
Houston receives: Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson, Marcus Morris, Alex Len
New Orleans sends: Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson, Kendrick Perkins
New Orleans receives: Dwight Howard
Phoenix sends: Marcus Morris, Alex Len
Phoenix receives: Ty Lawson, Kendrick Perkins
Rockets do it for the retooling process.
Pelicans do it as a drastic change after the horrible start to the season.
Suns do it as a precaution after the Bledsoe injury and hopes that Lawson betters the offense by taking the ball away from Knight.
Holiday | Beverley
Harden | Thornton
Ariza | Morris | Brewer
Anderson | Jones | Harrell
Capela | Len | Motiejunas
To me that's a start to surrounding this team with players who are better equipped to play with Harden. The step after this would be dealing Jones, Brewer, and maybe Ariza for better wing depth.

Lionel Hollins would make a great coach to whip our players into shape mentally

I think you mean Markieff, not Marcus
I like that trade idea though. Would make us even more dangerous on offense and adds solid depth

I still prefer Thibs over any coach in the market currently, but I agree that Hollins would be nice
