Default No seriously... This is a foul

    .
Why can't perimeter defenders in today's game get this close??... Because it's a foul!!

Instead, today's perimeter defense is a league-mandated hands-off - space is now required between players on the perimeter, so shooters and penetrators achieve stats much easier against the visibly weaker defense:

And if MJ got the same league-mandated space on the perimeter that Curry enjoys, he'd score 100 points today, as many have said including Phil Jackson, Larry Brown, and many more.. Kobe almost did it under these soft rules.

What's Curry's record for threes in Finals half?

    Or steals or blocks?

Curry's offense is better than Lebron's ever was... Lebron's offense is small-fry and ineffective at the highest level compared to truly SKILLED players like Curry, MJ, Kobe or Bird.

However, Curry's offense is built upon the 3-pointer more than any player in history, so that means he'd be worse in eras that didn't have a 3-point line.. Whereas MJ averaged 37 ppg on all two-pointers at 59% ts, so he'd be the goat in any era.

No but seriously.. that was not a bad question at all.. Can you answer that because I'm curious as well.. I know Kobe (vs Jazz in 2006-07 season), Klay, Carmelo are all in the 30s..

Don't have to get defensive bro. Just because 2016 Curry > Prime MJ, doesn't mean you can't answer the question... how many points did MJ get in a quarter?

But lets see Kobe or Curry do that with NO space in between them and the defender - it's like night and day - no more prancing around unfettered on the perimeter:

curry is special right now and i watched damn near every jordan game from 1990 - 1998 and i collected all the basketball cards ect.. i was a real hardcore fan. all i did was fish and watch basketball when i was a teen.

BUT they are 2 different swords Jordan was a fadeaway EXPERT i know alot of the highlights people see is jordan dunking ect... well he was a great athlete so them shots get seen most on highlights. but his go to was a lazy fade away that was unblockable. BOTH JORDAN and PIPPEN played the lane like JIMMY buttler is just now starting to do but they both got around 3 picks - dunks per game its insane to see that good defense produces about + 4 - 8 points per game but it happened alot. Jordan was slightly ahead of pippen but (TRUST ME THIS) pippen got to HOF by doing that.

CURRY is just a pure shooter and the greatest 3 point shooter of all time i dont even think i'll live to see someone shoot 3s as good as him. larry bird was good at 3 pointers but lets be honest larry bird could not even compair to this curry we have right now. ONLY thing i think ATM that sets curry apart from GOAT is the steals and defense.

CHICAGO without rose held curry to 26 points and well 26 points is still good but i'd liked him to put 40 on chicago to impress me the most.. then again i dont realy see too many people go off on chicago like that.

this is awful defense for one

for two even if that was a good defender and they tried to do that to steph curry...

steph curry deadlifts 400+ pounds (http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-...ift-400-pounds)

if that skinny ass ngga put his hand on currys hip, he would take a fuccing dip

curry would drive that slim jim all the way to the bank, does not have the lower body strength to handle curry, that is saying if he doesn't beat him off the dribble. from the speed of that gif I hope it isn't slowed down or anything because the foot speed looks awful

Curry is the offensive GOAT by a long shot and if he plays at this level for the rest of the season it will be the Greatest Season Of All Time, better than Jordans, with defense factored in as well.
