The goat playoff stats: 35/7/7 w/ 2.3 stl and 1.0 blk.. 50.1% fg.. 35.2% 3P (2.2 att)
That isn't one series - that's MJ's stats in 85-93' playoffs - 9 years
Exact numbers are:
34.7 ppg.. 6.6 rpg.. 6.7 apg.. 2.3 spg.. 1.0 bpg.. 50.1% fg.. 35.2% 3P (2.2 attempts)
35/7/7 on 50/35/83
Can anyone match this over an extended period?...

Nope, but I think his 1st 3-Peat averages are better
33.7 ppg 6.4 rpg 6.6 apg 2.1 spg 1.0 bpg on 50/39/84 shooting (2.4 3PA)
He shot the three consistently at 38% in all 3 runs with him peaking in '93 at 38.9% at 3.9 attempts. I believe '93 MJ is the most complete version of him as an offensive player. 41 ppg in the Finals on 50.8%FG with 40% from 3 at 4.2 attempts per game. Four straight 40+ pt games with a 55-pt game where he scored almost half of his team's 111 points in a win.

I can't argue with facts
93' MJ was all-round brilliant
94' MJ would've been the pinnacle
But that's how goats do it apparently.. retire midway, like Jim brown and Ali and Barry Sanders

MJ never worked on it. If he decided to work on it, he would've been a better shooter than anyone. That being said he was already on Curry's level but he just chose not to because he wanted to attack the defense.

MJ is a better DragQueen than Dennis Rodman
MJ never worked on it. If he decided to work on it, he would've been a very convincing woman.

If MJ played today, he'd make his 3-pt shot all-time great just like he did the mid-range and fadeaway..
He had goat form.... and despite no practice, he was already a good 3-point shooter anytime it mattered - 43% on 3.3 attempts in 91-93' Finals, and 35.2% on 2.2 attempts in the 85-93' playoffs... And anytime he tried - he attempted less than 1.5 attempts every year except 90/93' with 3+ attempts at 37.6% and 35.2%

Goat scoring, clutch, teamwork, leadership and defense
Show me where Lebron coached a teammate to the game-winner like MJ did Kerr... f'kin goat
You realize that no one would know who Kerr is and he wouldn't be an NBA coach if he doesn't hit that shot to get name recognition right?.. MJ gave him a career - the goat teammate elevator..

Generally speaking foul shooting correlates pretty well to 3 point shooting. When evaluating college players foul shooting correlates better than 3 point shooting when judging who can shoot NBA 3s.
Brook Lopez didn't take 3s for his first 8 years. He is a career 79% foul shooter and has become a respectable 3 point shooter.
Marc Gasol also didn't take 3s for his first 8 years. He is a career 78% foul shooter and has also become a respectable 3 point shooter.
MJ was a career 83.5% foul shooter so I am pretty confident he could become a decent 3 point shooter, especially given the fact that teams would be reluctant to play him tightly that far from the basket.
