If you're great, you don't constantly whine about being snubbed IMO. Go show the world. Getting swept a bunch of times by 15 ppg margins isn't the way to do it. He's a fantastic player, and by all accounts a great person, but I wouldn't say he's not sensitive based on what we've seen.

Re: Damian Lillard not happy with Beverley+PG postgame.
I'm with it. I know Dame vs Westbrook is no longer heated because they showing love to each other after Mamba passed so we need new bad blood.

Might've been over the top, but if Dame started the talking then he's gotta own it. Come back better next time.
Not gonna lie and say I didn't chuckle when Bev fell over the bench Dude was laughing his ass off.

Him "whining" about being snubbed or not has nothing to do with being great.
The problem was people / coaches did not accept him being great.
Every honorable man would stand up for oneself in those situations and make some kind of suggestion to being wronged.
"Go show the world" is a dumb statement that has no value in reality.
What does that mean?
It means nothing.
He showed them, and they didnt recognize it.
I just think your interpretation of the word sensitive is way off.
He responded in the most mature badass way in the press conference to being mocked at. Many others wouldnt have dealt with that.
Dame is just an OG, laid low chill guy, doing his thing with his one and only team...
if he was sensitive, he would have gone to a better team years ago where he would have more chances of winning.
Thats what sensitive people do.
But he felt comfortable in his own skin and toughing it out with the Blazers, who he carried hard even this year amidst injuries.

Re: Damian Lillard not happy with Beverley+PG postgame.
By the way, during his interview with JJ Redick, Beverley called Lillard the toughest player in the league for him to guard. So the respect is there.
But this is gamesmanship.

Why would Dame have started the talking?

Why wouldn't he? Is that not in his personality or?
I heard Damian started the trashtalk, but didn't catch the game to get full context.

now it's coming out on film that Paul George wasn't even one of the players who waved goodbye at him. Sounds like Dame has his usual victim complex.
I disagree though. He's very sensitive. As I said above the proof is in the pudding.
"Easily hurt or damaged emotionally". Yep, shoe fits.

Not only does it seem Dame started it... But now people going over film are saying that Paul George didn't even gesture at Dame. So he basically let Beverley get in his feelings and brought him into it for no reason.

pat beverly plays his role well, but he is a scrub compared to dame or CJ, and his falling over laughing antics on the bench looked like behavior you'd see from a 12 year old acting up in school. There's zero doubt that little **** would be in prison (or worse for running his mouth in the chi), if not for basketball.

He also bitched about not not returning to the bubble if blazers were not given a chance. He gets a chance and misses 2 freethrows. Sounds like a bitch to me.
