Why don’t you go even further with it.
Allen Iverson one-man armies it vs the undefeated juggernaut double headed Alpha monster in Shaq and Kobe in 2001 Finals. At 5 foot 11. All that heart, toughness and competitiveness.
One player steals a game they had no business winning. Should’ve been a sweep.
Now Jimmy Butler versus the two headed Alpha monster in the LeBron and Anthony Davis Lakers? Without his second and third best player?!
One player steals a game they had no business winning. Should’ve been a sweep.
The only person that didn’t do it, and couldn’t follow through?
The guy they claim to be a one-man army. LeBron James.
Don’t you remember he forgot that he had a time out, passed off the potential game winning shot with little Stephanie Curry guarding him, then threw his teammate and coach under the bus in a tantrum basically. Went into overtime pouting and basically quit on his team?
Basically explains the difference between physical potential and the intangibles that actually make a winner ... a winner and why another guy is three for nine in the finals, while his young nerd stans claim he’s the greatest ever

Kawhi didn't do shit noteworthy and Iggy was left completely wide open in the 2015 finals due to the Cavs strategy of double teaming Curry every second. Curry clearly should have won 2015 FMVP.
Now Durant? Yes dude destroyed Lebron and the Cavs no doubt. But Lebron was just as good against Durant.
But yes, keep on acting like you expected Jimmy Butler to play like Michael Jordan...we are all buying it.

Jimmy is the first player to outscore, outassist, and outrebound Bran in a finals game.

First he outplayed and destroyed giannis. Now he's outplaying LeBron. Now people can respect what kawhi did to Butler last season. Kawhi had zero help that series vs 76ers as well

According to you the bubble doesn't count and is meaningless. Clearly Kawhi went up against an inferior "product" of Jimmy Butler last year.

And butler stayed on LeBron. Heat have the best way of defending pick and rolls, they do a hard show but they don't switch. More teams needs to copy this. Switching just causes mismatches

Kawhi went up against a superior non bubble Butler. The bubble makes everybody worse.

Does the bubble count or not? If Butler wins it is meaningless yeah?

It doesn't hold the same value as a normal nba ring I don't think. However, butler is an extreme underdog. So in butler's case, it does count. It only doesn't count if Lakers win. Butler had the odds extremely stacked against him, so I will give him credit.

butler deserves it. he's an all substance, no flash player. he's proven how valuable he is after how well he played for philly last year and how good he's been for the heat this year.

and Butler had no three-point attempts last night and only 5 total for the series.. so it's perfect - mj would destroy these Lakers and today's league
of course, mj already won titles while shooting threes at today's level - he shot 39% on 4 attempts in the 93' playoffs, 93' Finals, and 92' Finals
