Re: Lebum will never be the G.O.A.T
LeBron became the undisputed GOAT when he won his 4th Finals MVP with his 3rd team.
Anything he does from now on is another nail in the coffin for everyone else's case at being the GOAT. And breaking Kareem's scoring record won't just be a nail in the coffin, it will be some Chernobyl-style led coffins that are welded shut and then buried in cement type of shit for everyone else's case:

Pre-lebron
2010 Wade.... 28 PER... 9.2 BPM
2010 Kobe..... 21 PER... 4.4 BPM
2010 Bosh.... 6x all-star (pre-lebron)
2007 Pau...... 1x all-star (pre-kobe)
No one respects Lebron teaming up with all the best players and mostly losing at each stop
He went 2/4 with Kobe-Pau II... 1/4 with Kyrie.. Lottery in West without AD

* zero wins against top 5 SRS teams with poor scoring and efficiency from a sidekick (no carry-jobs against good teams in 2 decades of playing)
* he's an "assist hog" - aka high personal assists but low team assists - because he's rarely an assist TARGET (off-ball)
* can't win with 2nd option that scores far less because he shoots poorly at the higher volume required (contested jumpshooting)
* needed equal-scoring teammate for half of rings (needed a 1b) - equal-scoring teammates attract equal defensive attention, so rings with 1b's < rings with 2nd options that average far less... Ultimately, lebron needed elite 1st option to play 2nd and 3rd options
Fine, but If I was to make a list to convince you that LeBron is the GOAT, it would take days for you to read it because there is so much to say. All superstars have flaws, including Jordan and Bron too. We never said he was perfect but he is surely THE GOAT.

Wade & Bosh couldn't get out of the first round pre-LeBron

The 100% finals record is a necessary condition for GOAT, Lebron was already mathematically disqualified from GOAT conversation since 2007 when he lost in the Finals, there aint much to discuss anymore when we already have a definite answer.

I already disproved this lousy thesis of kiddlove nets.
If finals wins are end all be all than Bill Russel > Jordan and LeBron.
But nobody with any intellect says that.
You keep wanting people to stop discussing it yet theres thousands of arguments happening everyday. It will never stop. Jordan is no longer undisputed GOAT. There is plenty of dispute.

If Lebron had won after his first finals loss in similar dominance as MJ, 6/6 and 6 fmvps, he might have had a case.
But as soon as he decided to go the form a superteam route, and managed to lose 2x with that superteam, that chance went out the window.

Your disapproval means nothing actually, the CBS Superbowl Live also recognized MJ as the GOAT of basketball.

Why is OP so shook about LeBron's imminent ring? Is he starting to realize that the Nets arent as good as he initally thought?

Messi cannot be GOAT with 0 World cup titles, 0 goals in knockout stages of world cup. And with a 0 wins 4 losses finals record with Argentina.
Put Pele there,or Maradona or Brazilian Ronaldo or Zidane instead of Messi.

So Joe Montana’s 4/4 is better than Brady’s 7/10

Pau was already a HOF lock before playing a single minute with Kobe.

So Bosh was a 6-time lock
Bosh was a 6-time all-star before joining lebron, while Pau was a 1-timer before joining Kobe
And Wade > Kobe in 2010... So lebron joined Kobe-Pau II but went 2/4, including the goat choke and record loss - that's the worst anyone could do
You or I could do better than Lebron with Kobe-Pau II (just kidding but you get the point)
