Not to mention that people probably forgot he played at all since it was only the first 9 games.
Sure if that is how you want perceive it. You obviously not the only one.

Like I said analyse it how you want. Ultimately it doesn't matter anyway. Jokic is the MVP and no one can take it away.

But a year on and with hindsight on our side we should be mature enough as a society to admit the MPJr actually played in the regular season last year and stop prepending otherwise.

Given that he missed 73 games I think nobody cares except you.

Seems more or less fair. I think Joel could have won it last year and nobody would have thought much of it.

The only thing that bothers me about this debate is kind of how Jokic gets a lot of hate by talking heads for his playoffs the last few years...but Joel has never even made it out of the 2nd round and yet I don't hear much talk about that.

I hope this thread clears up any confusion and puts to bed this idea that the MVP criteria changed. The criteria didn't change: the performances, availability, and circumstances did. How many games the MVP candidates played, how their respective teams performed, and the quality of their supporting casts.

Well I don't care enough to lie about him not playing in games he actually played in.

He misses more games than most guys play. Embiid has never played 70 games in a season in his entire career.

Most people won't consider it a lie to say they won 48 without MPJ, even though he was technically present in 5 wins.

who gives a fvck .. it is history and to make cases for joker, Joel, or Giannis really doesn't make a difference.

They are all great players, and we should appreciate them every time they play.

You can make what of it you like and analyse it however but the fact is saying he didn't play at all is just not true and never will be true.

    Am I wrong?
    lol what is this
