Why didn't Jordan drafted Pau Gasol??

The Washington Wizards should have drafted Pau Gasol over Kwame Brown. At 21 Paul Gasol is already a veteran because he played in Spain and in Europe. Can you imagine a trio of Gasol, Jordan, and Hamilton? That's easily a playoffs team in the Leastern Conference. Sixers likely sweeps them in the first round. Gasol won the 2001-02 Rookie of the Year for the Memphis Grizzlies.
