Nikola Jokic as the goat european
Nikola Jokic surpasses Dirk Nowitzki as the Goat European. He might win his 3rd MVP in Four years

Should have won MVP last year too. Could have been the first player to win MVP 4 straight seasons.

No he shouldn't have. He mailed in a lot of games post-ASB while Embiid was consistently dominant while carrying a much bigger scoring load, while also playing better defense, and he had the better RS record. Jokic was more efficient no doubt but that's not what the award is about. Philly was better on both offense & defense with a worse roster in the RS.

I think Jokic is quite easily better than Dirk.
With Jokic it is really more about his motivation if he can keep it up long enough to get some longevity stats.

Embiid literally ducked Jokic in a regular season game in march when the race was close

It was one of the weirdest races ever. Jokic was leading the race for most of the season.
But then the Nuggets lost 4 straight. After that, the Sixers lost 4 of 5 games with Embiid missing the Nuggets game and somehow Embiid became the favorite after that. It was a classic case of "tired of seeing Jokic winning it, lets give it to a new guy".
Nuggets were 48-21 in the games Jokic played, while the Sixers were 43-23 in games Embiid played. All while Jokic destroyed Embiid in all advanced statistics.
Sixers were also 11-5 without Embiid, while the Nuggets were 5-8 without Jokic last season.
It was a robbery.
