Anyone else in the NYC area feel that earthquake?
The first time I've ever experienced one, it was brief but the building was for sure shaking. They're saying it was a 4.8 on the richter scale.

Dude, it was so goddamn loud and sonic sounding here.

Epicenter seems to have come from New Jersey. I felt something, but then again I'm on the ground level as opposed to up in a high-rise.

Someone I know in philly told me about it a few minutes ago.
I didn’t know there was even earthquakes over there lol. I looked it up on wikipedia quickly and I guess since there aren’t major fault lines in that area of the country, earthquakes are less powerful and more infrequent, but when they do happpen they are felt over larger areas.
interesting

Yea people were freaking out but it was so short and didn't do as much damage as a rainstorm or something we had a couple days ago which brought trees down.
