It was definitely just Messi. Idk how much Gillette usually gets for a Revs game, but its nowhere near 65,000.

Re: The Soccer Discussion Thread
Real Madrid makes another final and almost certainly another CL title imminent. Hate that freakin' team!
Although Mbappe joining them now sends serious Durant to the Warriors vibes LOL

Zach Lowy
@ZachLowy
Marco Reus will join LA Galaxy on a contract through December 2025 with the option for an additional year, per @CLMerlo
.
The Galaxy will pay Charlotte FC $350,000 for Reus’ discovery rights.

... on a leash
Re: The Soccer Discussion Thread
It was a super weak season for top football teams.
At the start of the knockout stage I said only City, Real and Bayern can win the title.
And then the draw was so horrible that City and Real met in the QF.
The fact Real lucked out against them and Bayern (with a huge robbery too) to win it is maddening because the real winning spree will start now with Mbappe and Endricks arrival.
Shame City didnt get through that. Theyd have deserved b2b titles after 7-8 years of close shave losses.

Re: The Soccer Discussion Thread
Anyone else get some Durant to Warriors vibes with Mbappe joining Madrid? If he doesn't win, he'll get crucified and if he does win, he'll get less credit. He honestly made the wrong decision from a legacy standpoint just because of how it will be perceived.

Albania really surprising me. Scoring the quickest goal in the Euros against Italy (although they ended up losing) and drawing Croatia 2-2. Tough ask against Spain, but they could easily make the KO stages.
