    Default Luka < Bird.. Bron < MJ... Giannis/Jokic < Shaq/Hakeem/KAJ/Duncan

Today's best fall short of previous era's best because the unspaced, physical eras was a tougher format that produced better players.

The unspaced, physical format required better basketball instinct, touch and pure scoring ability than today's spaced-out, hands-off, open paint, beginner format

    So better players were produced..

Today's game only requires a down-hill skillet.. This down-hill skillet isn't 5-man basketball, so it doesn't produce great-performing casts, aka great teams.

    MJ < Ant.

Oh, and Embiid lost to a far worse 22 year old in 2021.

I don't know why people always have to go to extremes when it comes to these comparisons it always feels very lazy. What would be the closest compelling argument

    Bron > KAJ
    Curry > Dr. J
    Giannis > Barry
    Durant > Iverson
    Jokic > Gervin
    CPIII > Ewing
    Kwai > Pippen
    Harden > Arizin
    Luka > R. Miller
    Butler > Drexler
    Tatum > Dantely
    Westbrook > Dumars
    Booker > Mullin

It's a problem because it costs us in international play when our best players get routinely embarrassed - we have far superior athletic talent but our superior talent gets destroyed by superior chemistry and brand of ball.. Other countries have the superior physicality, mid-range touch and quicker instinct required in a lesser-spaced and more physical environment of international rules and play.. So our beginner format gets exposed internationally - I think it will be a final capper of Lebron's career to lead us to massive blowout loss in international play before the gold medal game - you heard it here first but it's actually quite intuitive based on his history and it's exacerbated now that he's old.

Could you clarify why you think Lebron, at almost 40 years old, will be the leader?

Bruh, you need to explain yourself why you put Bron, a bumbling freighttrain, but not a skilled player, above Luka?

Is you on that Perk time?

Jordan was a homeless man's Anthony Edwards. He's be a good 6th man in today's NBA though. Possibly even some 6th man of the year votes
