Cavaliers cannot win a Championship because their only shots are 3s

The Cavs shot 47 3 pointer attempts against the Warriors. Yes, they crushed them. But that isn't going to be a long term remedy when they play someone like Jokic. Then again, most teams only know how to shoot 3s. But the few teams that have actually can do other things will have a strong chance to beat Cleveland.

I watched the game and the Cavaliers didn't do anything other than jack up 3s. Not that impressive. Their defense is pretty good. But the stats are misleading. Throughout most of the game, they shot more 3 pointers than 2 pointers. And then in garbage time, they started to make some lay ups.

If you go back and watch that game, EVERY single play was designed for a 3 pointer. The only 2 pointers were the putbacks off of the 3 point misses. Or there was no 3 point shot available and they drove to the rim or dished it off to their center as a last second shot attempt. There were times where they had a wide open 2 point shot and instead of taking it, they would dish it to Garland and he would take a wild 3 pointer. So they give up open 2 pointers in exchange for wild 3 pointers.

So I wasn't that impressed because the Cavaliers don't do anything other than make plays designed for 3 pointers. I predicted every shot, 3, 3, 3. 100 percent of the time I was right.

If you can shut down Garland, a lot of their offense breaks down and it becomes Mitchell isos and early 3s, so I agree with that.

I want to see them succeed in the playoffs with more physical defense.

Cavs swept Denver this season. Just a few weeks ago they dropped 149 on Joker in regulation.... on the road.
