Default The Sixers have picked an interesting time to start winning

It's just three straight wins for the Sixers which isn't a huge winning streak or anything but the Sixers have definitely looked better lately.

From an entertainment standpoint they're certainly better to watch lately

From a team standpoint it's kind of confusing. But the reality is they have three extremely potent weapons when they're healthy. I don't know what to make of them because they have badly losing record but three star players that have trouble staying on the court together

They're talented rookie Jared McCain, who's out for the season, is a real building block.

On paper, there's no reason for them to consider rebuilding. At least this season and maybe next season too. On paper they should be what, maybe the fourth or fifth best team in the east?

Yeah interesting time indeed. They need to pull the plug on the season quick.

No more of this winning shit. They need a top 6 pick this coming draft.

Hard not to win in that conference unless you try to lose

You don’t know what to make of them? Where have you been the past 3-4 years. Sixers have an often injured superstar center. They have a “complimentary” star player next to this center that often no show no call. They have a weak bench. They have spotty coaching. The bright spot is Maxey. It’s always been Maxey. But it’ll come to a point where Sixers will make him available for trade down the road because the team is not moving the needle. So this is the franchise way of saying hey let’s get assets for him and start over. Most nba franchises do the same shyt over and over.

This is why I was in support of Sam Hinkie trust the process method. Not becuase it’s full proof. Not because it guanteees a title or even NBA finals appearance. Because it said to the league f*ck this tired copy cat system you all follow. I’m doing something different, unconventional, not for the faint of heart. Where I KNOW backlash and harsh criticism will follow. I was all aboard until they derailed Hinkies train from at least seeing it ALL the way through. And guess what happened? The Colangelos came in and went BACK to the tired system the league loves and fans turn a blind eye too.

Where have you been bud? I would love an Ace Bailey, Harper, Flagg here. But this team ain’t bad enough to be in position to get them. So we embarrass the Lakers.

Maxey is a budding superstar. As much as I hate Philly and everyone that plays for every team in that city, he's so exciting. And no one can stay in front of him. No one on the Knicks could guard him in the series last year, they just got lucky he was off in game 6.
