CBS to settle with Donald on 20B lawsuit -- 60min doctored interview with Kamala
The CBS CEO and president resigned this week (source: https://www.npr.org/2025/05/19/nx-s1...uit-60-minutes)
Both Trump and Paramount have entered mediation, which could conclude at any time. Last October, Trump sued CBS News and Paramount for $10 billion over allegations of election interference involving the "60 Minutes" interview of then-Vice President Kamala Harris that aired weeks before the presidential election (the amount has since jumped to $20 billion). There have been reports that a settlement between $30-50 million could be reached, something Paramount hopes would clear the pathway towards its planned merger with Skydance Media, which seeks approval from Trump's FCC. Also fueling settlement rumors was Monday's abrupt resignation of CBS News CEO Wendy McMahon.

nice. though trump probably got more $$ from ovidio guzman 'el raton' aka chapo's son, for allowing 17 family members of the sinaloa cartel's family members into the US.

I know some people will automatically discredit it due to the source, but John Oliver did a good breakdown of this incident, explaining that it's fairly common practice in television, and that Fox News essentially did the same thing in a Trump interview.
It's roughly 14:08-18:37

It's not really surprising when networks like CNN, MSNBC, & Fox News are doing it, but 60 minutes in particular doing it is surprising. 60 minutes was the Gold Standard for journalism for years. The fact that they dropped themselves to that level is sad.
