then why did he allow 17 family members of el chapo/ivan guzman into the US?
i thought the long standing american policy of not negotiating with terrorists was non negotiable in of itself.

I would support Trump in a full all out assault on the cartels, both in Mexico and S. America.
Hope he does that. But doubt that he will.

I don't because the most effective way to fight drug addiction is to get people to stop wanting drugs, rehabilitation. Second, there would be civilian casualties because the US would rely on drone attacks and lastly, Mexico will never allow US troops with it's territory because it's not really the cartels the US are after, that's the excuse, they want Mexico's natural resources...same reason Uncle Sam invaded the ME.
