That's not what you were "just" doing. You were insinuating that the United States acted hastily due to speculation that the Japanese were ready to surrender. Japan ****ed with us, and in the race to show the world who the true superpower was, America had to flex its muscle. And no one has dared to lay a finger on us on U.S. soil since.
