Default Lebron never "ruled the East" since he was upset twice and then fled to form big 3's

This "decision" created a record 6 straight preseason favorites from 11' to 16' (previous high was 3), and a sidekick to outplay the league MVP... These unprecedented advantages required another unprecedented advantage to overcome it (KD's), but Lebron's advantage lasted twice as long (11-16' vs 17-19').

Formed big 3s in a weak EC where the stars that were supposed to challenge him got injured (Rose 2012, George 2014, Kyrie 2018).

Sure, OP, perhaps Lebron never did "rule" the East, but he more than made up for it with all the times that he three-peated.

    lol good point..

it was a remarkable run of 26 on 35% against the 08' Celtics to lose a 7-game series, and then 2 upset losses as OKC-level favorite... 3 straight chokes caused the decision to flee and form super-teams
