I haven't watched much of MSM reporting about Israel & Iran, so regime change and boots on the ground hasn't been a theme for me at all - Trump hasn't talked about it and neither has anyone in the administration. For the last 5 years the US has been funding Ukraine in it's fight with Russia, even providing funds of for weapons that has been used far inside Russia, even if they have nukes.

BTW, if Trump really is serious about brokering a peace between Israel and Palestine, stop Israel's blatant goal of domination in that region, he owns all the cards. He can just stop sending the billions of US tax dollars and weaponry to Israel and tell them in no uncertain terms to hammer out a two state deal. Ok so if it's a guarantee then what's the over/under? How long do you think it will take for Israel to disrupt the ceasefire? A week? A month? A year? Two years? Genuinely asking. It's easy to make a guarantee when you don't have to provide a timetable and there's zero risk of being proven wrong. Otherwise you can just keep playing that "any day now" card until the end of time.

Also if the goal of Israel is all out war, why would they honor a ceasefire to begin with?

And if they're the ones calling the shots, who has the power to make them accept those terms?

Is Trump just saying what he's told? Is this ceasefire all just one giant ruse? Is Israel playing 9D chess again?
