Which Western Conference Teams Would the Pacers Have Beaten?

They took the champ to 7 games, and trounced the Knicks and Cavs. If they had gone to the finals against one of the other top teams in the West, how would it have played out? Which of these teams would the Pacers have beaten in the finals?

They were amazing at running bigs off the court so I have to think they would have done great against Rockets and Wolves. Nuggets were just too thin to contend this year but if they went to finals healthy it would go to 7 against Pacers. Who would have gotten HCA in that series? Imo they beat Lakers and Warriors easily. Clippers IDK, they were really strong this year. Probably Clippers. But they were all really close this year so its incredibly subjective.

Obviously none would come close.

They ran into OKC, the only team that could match their depth and actually force them into turning the ball over. The 2025 Pacers are one of the best teams of the modern era who will be forgotten by history because of seeding/lack of perceived star power. (Haliburton ranks extremely high in advanced metrics and Siakim is a stud champion 2nd option) ... Carlisle is probably the best coach in the league. They played with insane pace and stamina, and were the best 3pt shooting team of the playoffs. They had 3 of the top 5 players in 3pt% for the playoffs and that's not including Haliburton.

They're one of the best teams of all time.

I agree with this. Unless they come back and do it again next year. They went on a tear after they got Siakam but still stayed under the radar until the conference finals. We'll see what they can do after losing Turner, but if they go back to the finals next season they won't be forgotten.
