I never want to hear about fiscal responsibility or DOGE from any Republican again. Anything they saved went into massive historic taxcuts and insane increases in things like ICE funding. What the hell does ICE need 150+ billion dollars per year for? More than total military budget of every country other than US and China.. Our military budget is also going up past a trillion.

Medicare is going to be impacted too. "The legislation allows more medications to be exempt from Medicare’s price negotiation program, which was created to lower the government’s drug spending. Now, manufacturers will be able to keep those prices higher."

Adding 3.3 trillion to the debt. Whatever happened to using "fiscal responsibility" as a counter-argument and goal?

yes, there are people that take advantage of it, don't need it, can do without it, etc.

but the people that indeed need it shouldn't suffer or be inconvenienced because of those bad apples. people with health issues and disabilities go through enough trouble, stres and frustration in their lives, a lot more than you or i can even imagine. i witness it first hand, everyday.
