Trump created a lot of new norms in politics. Yes under normal circumstances this would be beneath the presidency and not something befitting of the office, but Trump is not a normal president. We know that.

When it comes to Trump you get some bad but you also get a lot of good, so we're willing to give him more wiggle room on a lot of things. Especially considering what the alternative was and what he was up against.

I don't like to talk like this, because it lends credence to your Trump cult theory, but you do have to admit there is almost something supernatural at work when it comes to Orange Face. He's almost autistic in a way, like he wasn't born with the fear gene or the fatigue gene. Every time it looks like he is down and out, he manages to spin it into a W. Every single time. Even when the man loses, he wins somehow.

Not only that, he has defeated just about all of his opponents. Very few have truly scored a W on Trump. Biden technically did even though he cheated, but look what happened. Trump got back in the ring and Biden was utterly humiliated. This guy put the nail in the Clintons, the Bushs, the Obamas, the Bidens... all of his enemies. Even the pundits who made their careers bashing him all lost their jobs. Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Joy Reid... Rachel Maddow is really the only one left standing. Mostly everyone that takes aim at Trump ends up going down.

A few weeks ago Musk was going at him and bringing up Epstein, looking like he was about to get really reckless. Fast forward a few days later and he's apologizing. Now Musk looks like a crazy person high on the smell of his own farts and Trump's bill gets passed without much resistance. Trump wins again.

Then you have the Israel/Iran war. Things are getting dicey. Trump gets us directly involved. Panic ensues. Some of his most loyal followers abandon him. The hater brigade is declaring him an honorary member of the Bush family. Trump is getting extreme heat from both ends. Then he posts on Truth Social that he declared a ceasefire. No war. Re-establishes U.S. military dominance on the world stage.

Also don't forget, the bullet came an inch away from splattering his brains.

We could possibly be witnessing something biblical with Orange Face, for better or worse.
