Lightbulb Does LAL need to trade Bron to secure better odds in the Bryce James sweepstakes...

Thereby furthering their chances to re-sign Bron NEXT year?

It's kinda crazy if you think about it.

Lebron James will be an unrestricted free agent next year. He might just choose to sign wherever Bryce ends up so that he can get a year playing with his other son, then call it a career.

And realistically, Bryce's talent and bloodlines make him the virtually guaranteed #1 overall pick next year. Which the Lakers cant get the way Lebron is still dominating on the court. They need to bottom out.

Maybe trade him at the deadline to gain some assets, then draft Bryce in the summer, and re-sign Bron as a free agent next year. And then with the Holy Trinity fully in tow, you are ready to go win the 2027 championship.

Is Bryce better than Bronny? I mean, Bronny's a complete scrub, so Bryce can't be as bad. But I haven't seen him play.
