Carter over Weiss remains the nastiest dunk on of all time. It ended a career. Understand that Frederick Weiss has been drafted by the knicks that summer. After Carter dunked on him like that he decided he didn't want to be in the NBA, ever. He might have made himself a healthy 20, 30 mil over 10 to 15 years. Nope, not worth it.

The dunk in the OP is very nasty, but more for the embarrassing facial expression. Carter's dunk was a more purely outrageous, unheard-of athletic feat. We justifiably marvel at how Saquon Barkley jumped over a defender in a game last year. Carter didn't do it jumping backwards but he did it to a seven footer. A man that was reduced from being a man to just a target. A meme. A joke. That was drafted in the first round with the 15th pick. I don't really know what to compare that moment of domination to.

When I was coming up, we used to play a game called "chicken", where one guy gets an open lane to run up and try to posterize a waiting defender.

Today's game is like "chicken"... Wide open lane ,so any Tom, Dick, and Harry can waltz down the lane and punish a helpless defender.... No moves, feints, or pure scoring ability needed to get to the rim because it's a league mandated open paint
