The Democrat Party committed ritual suicide and is in a death spiral. The Dems spent decades cultivating mental illness in their base; now the mental illness has reached a critical level and the chickens have come home to roost. The moderate Dems want to get away from the lunatics, but cant because then they would lose every election in a landslide.
