This is what Manu would have looked like if he had his own team. Manu was basically a more athletic version of him.

Of course they targeted Toody on the GW too, worked like a charm.

Timberwolves are a bottom 5 defense this season and Rudy is a big reason as to why

He's fallen off a cliff defensively these past couple of years

Best 3rd option in the league like I've been saying.

Offensively, yes. However there is that idea of diminishing returns.

When you have great offensive 1st and 2nd options, having a 3rd option who is excellent defensively is going to be far more useful. Chet Holmgren and Evan Mobley are the true best 3rd options.

Gave up 19 in 4th to get them back in the game but lets disregard facts if we are a troll. 2nd highest net on team +7 with him on the floor -8 without him. Story of his career. Reid not showing up appears to be the main reason they lost but lets go at the old guy again! I thought the rookies they drafted were taking his job anyway?

It's a solid comp. Reaves has a better mid-range game, but Manu's a far better defender.

Reaves is really a second option though. He just doesn't get the ball enough when Lebron is playing. He's also the anti-LeShrivel in that he doesn't choke in the clutch.

5.2 average minutes of time of possession last year was only 0.2 behind Lebron himself and above Jayson Tatum, Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Tyler Herro, Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, and Jokic.

This year he is second in TOP behind only SGA.

The Lakers weren't running enough plays through him last year.

Neither of them could carry a team offensively like Reaves with their best player(s) out.

Look at Mobley's numbers this year with Garland out. It's a small sample size but he's not doing more to fill that void offensively. OKC had the best RS in their team's history last year with Chet out for a huge chunk of it.

Well yea that's why I led with his TOP last year, which was up there with many of the elite players in the game...
