    Default The Thunder are 20-1

Historical Best Season Record: 73-9 GSW in 2015-6 (overtaking Jordan bulls of 95-6 who were 72-10).

Most average basketball fans probably can't name 3 players on OKC

They are quietly having a dominant season.

Their average is +13 over their opponents

This is all the more impressive since J Wil has only played 2 games this year. The 2nd best player on the team in most peoples minds.

Quietly? Bro everyone knew they'd be heavy favorites.

I was pointing out how dominant they were last February last year, with maybe the best defense this century. If healthy, they should be the a dynasty over the next 3-4 years.

    3-4 years?

*IF* healthy and that's always the big if, they could go on a tear for OVER a decade when you consider the draft picks they have coming their way.

Presti is the best GM in the history of basketball and there isn't even a close second. Not even Jerry West.

Nah teams will start figuring them out, unless they trade for Lebron for instance. If they can swing a deal for The King at the deadline I could see him leading them to a record season win total.

I meant quietly among the national press and broader (casual) audience. You don't have national fanfare like we did when the Warriors were winning rings.

Being small market is part of that. But the other part is the star quality that people have.

Of course hardcore fans knew knowing they are defending champions. That said, did anyone predict they would be THIS good and start 20-1?

They drafted so well one of the best front offices I have ever seen in sports

Sam Presti deserves a statue in Oklahoma

Trading for SGA was huge. And picking Lou Dort though he went undrafted.
