Curry winning a chip before KD is a terrible narrative

We all know Curry only won in 2015 because Love and Kyrie were hurt.

KD in 2012, 3 years before Curry sniffed the finals, faced the 2012 Heat FULLY healthy.

If KD had Curry's luck, where Bosh and Wade were injured in the finals, then KD would have won in 2012 just like Curry.

The people saying Curry won a chip before KD got there are not thinking at all. We all saw Curry simply couldn't match Lebron in 2015/2016 and he/Draymond legit cried for KD to come join them...and then KD went on to win 2 FMVPs in a row on Curry's head.

What makes it a terrible narrative? How is this "terrible" narrative supposedly misleading? Does this conflict with the fact Curry led multiple teams to 67+ wins something KD never did (nor did LeBron for that matter) without Curry? Does it contradict the fact that when Curry and KD faced off in the playoffs Curry emerged victorious? Does it contradict the fact that Curry has won championships without KD while KD hasn't without Curry? Does it contradict Curry being able to win with young inexperienced teammates?

No not at all. Curry winning in 2015 fits and conforms to the overall picture. Curry is an incredible player who is capable of greatly increasing his team's winning chances under different circumstances.

What your story does confirm though is that there are people out there like yourself who will bend over backwards and invent arguments to try and diminish Curry's achievements.

Let's cut to the chase though. This isn't really about KD.

Curry > LeBron.

Wade was 3rd team all-nba in 2012. Bosh did not make any all-nba in 2012. In 2015, Klay and Kyrie were both 3rd team all nba.

So...you're literally wrong again...

Also Kyrie was hobbled a little going into the 2015 finals. He was terrible in the Hawks series because of it. He didn't randomly break his knee in game 1 on the finals...he was already hurt a little going in and it backfired on him.

Face it, we know KD would've won in 2012 if he had the same injury luck Curry had in 2015, and frankly the entire NBA would be drastically different if that happened.

Wade didn't take a reduced role until 2012. He was injured and then saw (as did Spo) how great the offense looked with James running the show so that's when it was decided that Wade would take a backseat and voila... B2B titles. Spo gets credit but it took a Wade injury for him to figure out that LeBron should've been running the show the whole time.
