Well no, I have no connection to Canada but when I started playing basketball in 1999 I loved Vince Carter so Raptors just happend to be the team I started following. And when Carter left I thought "Man, do I have to change my favourite team now?". But as I thought that I heard how silly it sounded. I could never change my favourite team and ever since that day when i realized that my love for the Raptors has been growing. :)

Until Lacrosse came to Edmonton in 2006, I was pretty much a hockey only guy but the sport of lacrosse has changed my sporting tastes completely.
In 2008 when I began to work in the Rush office, I became a student of the game of lacrosse and that love and knowledge translates so well into NBA Basketball that I began watching B-Ball instead of boring hockey.

Last season, I watched at least a Raptor game a week and caught quarters here and there of non-Raptor games. Joining the boards to further my self-education of basketball.

I've been a fan of the Raptors since their inception and a fan of the Celtics since I can remember. I'm a short road trip from Boston and have been to many games over the years.

Growing up I also liked watching Reggie Miller and the Pacers. They played some hard nosed basketball and had some great playoff series. Walsh put together a couple great teams. It's kind of ironic that he is with the Knicks now.

I Started watching the NBA when i was like 10 years old, and got obsessed with it. when i first started watching the raptors were really bad they won 27 games all year i was hoping they made the playoffs that i watched every game. After they won they 47 games i stopped watching them as much instead i am a hawks now.

I first became a fan of the Raptors in 1999. I was one of those fans who kind of lost interest in the NBA once MJ retired because I was a dumb kid. I realized how stupid that was since basketball is my passion and I loved the NBA. I wasn't a fan of any team in particular, and I thought the Raptors had the coolest name and logo/mascot. I think subconsciously I was attracted by Vince Carter, because of the comparisons he started drawing to Jordan. I was hooked and have been a fan ever since.
