great song though and the spinners are usually under appreciated-- thanks for the post

Re: the ultimate ish otc funk/soul/jazz thread
hmm. Didn't read, but was Bootsy posted yet?
Any Bootsy and/or P-Funk fans might want to check out "Praxis".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUL_gcHv0EA
Praxis also featured Buckethead, who is one of the greatest guitarists alive.
If you like it, download the album "Transmutation" (mutatis mutandis). Great album, with lots of "funk", but also some great psychedelia, much like Maggot Brain.

Re: the ultimate ish otc funk/soul/jazz thread
not a lot i can contribute here that isn't very well known already or even already posted, but here's two songs for you i think will be new to a few people.
The Limp Twins - Living Well
the limp twins are will holland and russell porter. will holland is probably best known as quantic.
that was the funk part, now some jazz, from the only jazz album i have!
George Benson - Living Well
couldn't find a youtube vid so it's just a music streaming site. nice relaxing tune.
