If it was just him, no. But the best "Source" that says it's true is Bondy and he's an awful source on NY sports much less national.

Because Laker sources have always been honest.
Rumor: Kobe and Shaq got into a confrontation
Source: No truth to this rumor
Rumor: Kobe and Phil got into it
Source: No truth to this rumor

There aren't really good sources. Give me a good source. Not a person like Bondy who posts whatever they want.
Note: Because you want it to happen, and because it would be funny if it happened, doesn't mean it happened.

a few sources says it's not true. Dwight's mouth piece says its not true and ESPN report from California is says it's not true. I would believe a reporter in Cali reporting anything about their team then a reporter in New York. I don't see how he can get any inside info all the way over there.

Plus it was Bondy. He's very quick to believe (and write about) situations that are bad.

You made good points up to the bolded.
A. This allegedly happened in Philly
B. And even if it didn't, it aint like we communicate via smoke signals.

They beat them in Philly. They're talking about the game in LA.

You're right I misread.
But my main point still stands tho.
Just because he's in a different city it doesn't mean he can't get info leaked to him. ESPN and other reporters get info leaked to them all the time regardless of where they are.
Now.. not saying the rumor is true (although I wouldn't be the least bit shocked), but one doesn't have to be in the same city.

If i was Howard, i would have a beef with Bryant as well. I have watched Bryant closely for his entire career and for some inexplicable reason he is still playing hero ball even as his career winds down. If the opposing team is up by a few scores with a few minutes remaining, what will Bryant do? Will he A) Run the offense and search for the highest percentage shot to get his team within striking distance, or will he B) launch a contested 3 pointer even though that's clearly not the shot his team needs at the moment just so that he can be given all of the credit if they win. Anybody who has watched Bryant play throughout his career knows that he will take the contested 3 pointer 10 out of 10 times. He will never let go of hero ball and this is what i dislike about him the most. He wants all the credit for their victories.

At times I don't blame him for going into hero ball if they're down. At times he kinda has too, that's what every star player must do in these situations aka 'Take over' and try to win the game.
My issue is how he goes about it in this instance.
My issue with Kobe is when they are winning, yet he goes for his regardless of how he and others are playing. If they're winning and other players have played well and he hasn't, he continues to jack up shots to get his stats. Something not exclusive to him, but he's alone in how often he does it.
